So my mom just went off on one of her little "Jessica is the Godly daughter" tirades. She has to go to the hospital for a few days because of some problem I really don't give a fuck about. Regardless, she goes "at least I know you'll help me out Jessica.." Which if funny because a few days ago she was going on about how Jessica does nothing around the house, and blah blah blah. I don't understand the way she thinks? I think her brain should be studied because scientists would be stunned to discover her level of stupidity. She probably says it to make me mad, but I can barely here her talk right now cause I'm busy... So really?
What's even funnier is that I heard Jessica tell her something earlier and out of no where my mom yells "I DON'T GIVE A FUCK, BLAH BLAH BLAH, SHE IS SO NEGTIVE [insterts more swearing and insults] BLAH BLAH, GO TO MATT'S TONIGHT, I DON'T WANT YOU HERE.. I'LL KICK YOU OUT." I'm just sitting here like... "Okay.. I'm not even going to bother going out there to see what the fuck that was about. I'm pretty sure I was quiet in here the whole time."
Seriously.. Jessica could get raped by a gang of 50 black men, and I would just sit here and laugh. And as bad as this may sound, I can't wait for "mother" to go to the hospital. At least I won't have to hear her talk for awhile.
- Mandie.
Why is my life so fucking stupid lately? I wish I had a million dollars so I could just make everything better. It's a shame that money has to solve everything in my life. I HATE SCHOOL, it's bringing me down so much. I guess everything's a little better now that it's the weekend, but I still need to suffer in school next week.
To make my life even worse, Matt is acting weird and I'm tired of fighting for attention.

I know I'm kind of late on the whole one tree hill scene, but I'm completly obsessed. I'm on the third season and just finshed watching the episode where Keith dies. <3 I loved him, and it sucks because he was engaged to Karen, and about to adopt Lucas. UGH I HATE YOU DAN, FUCK YOU, FUCK YOU! I think I'm gonna get Matt to burn the 4th and 5th seasons for me. I'm tired of watching them on the internet.

I have a philosophy test tomorrow, but I don't wanna do it so I'm gonna skip it and study for it that period in the library. At least there, I have no distractions and I can actually get something done. God damnit, I fucking hate school. I just want to be done with it, but I have a whole new semester next year because I had to go and fail most of my classes in grade 9, ugh.

I haven't been updating this thing, but that doesn't mean I haven't been keeping up with my diet. I jog when I can, and I eat a lot better + I've cut down a lot on junk food. It's just hard to cut it ALL OUT I've realized, lol. I was thinking about getting a membership at the YMCA, but I don't know how often I would go... Like, I know after school would be the best time since I get off my bus right next to it after school, but I don't know.
On a different note. My mom is really starting to piss me off. I just got money from my dad's death and she thinks she can somehow manage my account? I'm 18 years old and no, you can't check to make sure how much money I have spent. IT'S MINE, NOT YOURS, GTFO. Ugh, I can't believe she had the nerve to even say that. I told her I'd go open my own account, and she's like.. "No, I'm going with you." Seriously, you need to fuck off.

So far, I'm doing everything I'm supposed to do! The next time my mom goes shopping, I have to give her ingrediants so I can follow a nutrition plan. I was also successful on my run last night, but since the road was really slippery due to the snow storm that hit my city on the weekend, I did a lot of fast walking which also was an option. None the less, I ran and walked for 20 minutes. I woke up late today... Like really late, but as soon as I did wake up I did 20 jumping jacks, and today is my day off from cardio so I don't have to run! On to day 2:
DAY 2 - FOCUS: STRENGTH TRAINING
Your assignment today is a beginner full body strength training program. You'll perform a variety of exercises using very little equipment to get your body used to exercise. I've given you other resources if you'd like to try other workouts. You'll also learn how to calculate your BMR to make sure you're on the right track for losing weight.
On day 1 of your 12 Week Program you started off the week with a little planning and some cardio exercise. You DID do your workout, didn't you? (Yes!) Today you'll focus on your first strength training session so get ready to build some muscle. Remember, muscle burns way more calories than fat, so the more you have, the more calories you'll burn. Enjoy!
CARDIO FOCUS: ACTIVE REST
Active rest simply means moving around more than usual without actually doing a structured cardio workout. Whenever you get an opportunity to move, do it--take the stairs, go talk to someone rather than emailing, walk the dog, walk to the store, play with the kids, rake the yard, etc. If you sit all day, set an alarm to go off every hour and stand up and stretch. Tell your boss you'll QUIT if you don't get some exercise time! Okay, everything but that last one...
STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY FOCUS: FULL BODY STRENGTH
Are you ready for your first strength training workout? This week, we're focusing on full body--working all the muscle groups of your body in a short, efficient workout. You'll need light dumbbells and, if you've got it, an exercise ball. If you don't have a ball, don't worry...just do the exercises without it.
NUTRITION FOCUS: CALCULATE YOUR BMR
Today, you'll calculate your BMR--the number of calories you need to maintain normal functions like respiration, digestion, etc. This is the minimum number of calories you should eat each day. Remember, this is just an approximation--no calculator will be completely accurate.
So far today I've eaten: LOTS of fruit, a sandwhich, and a couple low fat snacks.
My BMR (approximately): 1513
I haven't blogged here in such a long time. Actually, I just recently started blogging at my domain again. It was collecting dust for a couple months, lol. But now that I have new layout up (scribbled-hearts.org) I'm back to typing up entries whenever I can. I actually missed vox a lot, and decided to use this as my weight loss online journal for 12 weeks. Of course, it will be used for other little things as well, but it's focused primarily at my 12 week diet, which I start today! Not only am I cutting out junk food, I have a new work out routine which I'm excited about. All of last year I kept telling people that I was going to lose weight, but I never showed any progress. It was probably because I never had a routine to follow, which meant I had no where to start. Well, I found a website that sends me weekly work out/diet schedules and I am so in love, haha. Right now I'm going to post what I'm doing today, and will continue to do so for the days that follow. Anyone is willing to follow what I'm doing, I encourage it!
Do the following flexibility work out after you've cooled down from the cardio. Hold each stretch for at least 10-15 seconds (more if you have time). This part of your workout should feel good, so enjoy it.
LOWER BODY STRETCH
Stretching is an important part of any workout routine. It helps increase your flexibility and reduce your chances of injury. It's best to stretch the muscles you've used after your cool down although, if you have any chronically tight muscles, you may want to stretch those after your warm up as well. Below are some common stretches for your lower body including your quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves and hips. Do each stretch at least once and hold for at least 15 seconds (more if you have time). Each stretch should feel good. If you feel any pain, ease up and go slower.
Hip/Glute Stretch
Cross left foot over right knee. Clasp hands behind right thigh and gently pull the leg in towards you, keeping upper body relaxed. Switch Legs.
Hamstring Stretch
Lie on floor with knees bent. Straighten one leg and slowly pull it towards you, clasping the thigh, calf or ankle. Keep knee slightly bent. Switch legs.
Inner Thigh Stretch
Sit on floor with feet pressed together. Keeping abs in, lean forward until you feel a gentle stretch in your inner thighs.
Lunge Stretch
In lunge position, rest back knee on the floor, with front knee at 90 degree angle, abs in. Gently press forward until you feel a stretch in the front of the leg/hip. Switch legs.
Kneeling Hamstring Stretch
From above lunge position, slowly move backward until leg is slightly bent. Bend forward at the hip, keeping back flat until you feel gentle pull in the back of the leg. Switch legs.
Piriformis Stretch
Begin on the hands and knees and bring the left knee in, resting it on the floor between your hands (you should be on the outside of the knee). Straighten the right leg out behind you and, if you can, bend forward and rest the forearms on the floor.
Knees to Chest
Lying on the floor, pull your knees into your chest and clasp your hands under your knees. Gently press your hips to the floor.
NUTRITION FOCUS: FOOD DIARY
Starting today, keep track of everything you eat in a food diary. Don't change your habits just yet--eat normally and record what and how much you eat each day. Use a food database to find nutritional content of what you're eating. Record the number of calories you've eaten at the end of each day.
So today I woke up at 3PM so I didn't get to eat breakfast. I did have grapes and a bottle of water though. My mom hasn't gone shopping yet, so there's not a lot for me to eat. She's ordering pizza for dinner, which is not a good start at all, but I kind of have to eat it but it doesn't matter since I'll work it off when I go running tonight. While waiting for the pizza to come I'm gonna eat an apple and some more grapes. Tonight I have to try and find something good to eat. Hopefully I can.
. . .
So that is the conclusion of day one. I'll edit this post tomorrow to organize the food diary some more. I hope I can keep up with this! I want to look good for summer. My goal weight is 115-120, right now I'm at around 145 and it's all in my hips and ass, lol.

It's 1am, and I'm bored so I thought I would update for once. Um...
Vogue is open and has been for a couple weeks now! Check it out:
Winter break is over and unfortunately, I have to go back to school on Monday.
Anyways, nothing else is new, so bye bye for now.
- Mandie
I'm going to be using this blog again until I get a new layout up on my site because
right now it sucks! Anyways... I can now see Vogue! & It's pretty much done. I need
to get a few headers made, re-do the member profiles, add more items/avatars, change
some of the forum icons and its all ready! I'm really proud of myself. The site is looking
good for my first time making one. I hope it turns out successful!
Anyways. Nothing is really new since the last time I blogged about my life... I have
an extremely ridiculous amount homework and assignments to do for school, which
I rarely do because I'm too busy with other things, lmao... Saturday I went to a family Christmas
party which was pretty boring, but at least Matt was there to make it bearable.
Um... My winter break is in a week, and I'm so excited! No more school and I get to spend time
with Matthew for two whole weeks, yay! Lmao.
That's about it. The next post will probably be regarding Vogue's opening.
I hope everyone joins!

I hate essays. Especially when my teacher doesn't give me clear instructions
on what to do. I have to write one based on the impacts historical people have made
on the world. Well, at least that's what I think. He kept making references to battles,
so I don't know if I have to choose 3 people who have fought memorable battles?
LIKE, UGH. Whatever man, I'm so sick of school it's ridiculous. How about giving
us all an assignment hand out next time? Holy fuck.
scribbled-hearts is back up. Check it out.

That would annoy the crap out of me. I hope you can figure something out.Going to the YMCA sounds like... read more
